Spiritual Detoxing - Energy Cleansing
Experiencing any of the symptoms mentioned below is normal for a reiki session. You quite literally could feel anything during a session as it depends on what is most urgently in need of the energy and the energy is subsequently drawn to that location. Typical sensations include crying, laughing, feeling at peace, tiredness, tingling, energized, cold and hot. It is advised to have adequate rest after a session and refrain from activities and or foods which do not serve a healing environment. Treat every session as though you are coming from a medical procedure as to give your mind and body the adequate time to recover. The spiritual detox may last from 24 hours up to 1 week.
General Healing Attunement
The entire body is scanned using a chakra-based approach from the crown chakra down to the root chakra. Any areas of interest - based on intuition and feeling with the mind and hands - where energy is picked up will be then attended to by attuning the patient to the Usui reiki Symbols which are most appropriate for them at that time in each chakra. The intent for the session is set at the outset (tailored to the needs) then it will be let go and the universal energy will be channelled into the patient.

Chakra Balancing
During a typical session the entire chakras system is scanned and thereafter the wheels of energy will be adjusted to allow for either more flow or reduced flow in cases where appropriate. Chakras are like channels that allow energy to propagate inside the body so unbalanced chakras can over time realise as hinderances and they can easily be seen to. When our chakras flow freely it enables us to functionally help ourselves in every aspect.
Animal Reiki/ Pet Reiki
Distance Healing / Distance Reiki
By the same mechanics as with humans other animals can appreciate and benefit from the effects of Reiki energy work. Whether it is temperament issues, a sad pet or a medical issue; I will work together with the owner of the animal as well as the vet to get the best possible outcome. Mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish and invertebrates are all welcome as I see to all animals. In this way my understanding of medicine and anatomy is of great assistance. These sessions are no different in that they include a consult, scanning, attunement and grounding.
The ideal option if you’re familiar with energy work or have seen me in person before. From the comfort of your own environment whether it be at home or in a park. The session includes chakra scanning, a healing attunement and then grounding. In the ideal world we would see everyone in person, I do however realise that this is not feasible for everyone so we do offer distance sessions. I do not advise distance sessions if you are new to energy work or are emotionally walled of. In these cases, rather wait for the right time to see me in person so we may work through those issues first.

Cho Ku Rei, Sei Hei Ki, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, Dai Ko Myo and Raku. These names or pronunciation are not important for you to know. All you need to understand is that there is meaning and an intent instilled in these symbols which you are subsequently attuned to. This allows the body to find its state of equilibrium.
Family Reiki
I recommend in situations where there are many factors at play to include all the individuals. I prefer to see them separately and one after the other. Doing this allows the entire family to be attuned and no one person to be left out. Having everyone aligned is useful to create a positive foundation on which the family can build on thereafter. We often don’t pay enough attention to how interconnected we are, especially in a household, so I encourage those who feel the need to seek treatment together to do so.
Reiki House calls
Special arrangements can be made for those clients that cannot travel to me. This will include driving out to your place of residence, a consult, doing the full body scan using the chakra system, attunement to the 5 Usui Reiki Symbols and then the traditional hand placement to allow universal energy to flow through you. You will also be grounded at the very end.
